Cross Country Meet for Grades 3 to 6 on Monday, Oct. 17 at Earl Bales Park
Here is some further information regarding the cross country meet.
If you are driving your child to the meet please email me if you are driving your child or children if you have not already done so (email@example.com). Let me know if you are driving another child as well. You must fill out a Volunteer Drivers Form if you are driving a child other than your own and if a child requires a booster seat this must be arranged. You can find the drivers form in the Sports section of the Allenby website at http://schoolweb.tdsb.on.ca/allenby/home.aspx.
We now have been able to book a school bus. We are meeting in the Allenby gym at 8:30 a.m. Please be sure to send your child with a lunch, water bottle and perhaps a change of socks and shirt. As well, suitable clothing for the weather as we will be outside most of the day.
We have some wonderful parents who will be setting up a tent with the words Allenby blazoned on the sides. Students will receive their runner numbers the morning of the race and their pinnies at the Allenby tent at the meet. Below is some parking and other information that was given to us by the convenors of the meet:
There are over 350 parking spots at Earl Bales Park, but they will fill up early (by 10:30 am)
