Lawrence - Midland Project

The construction of a new school, that will replace Bendale Business and Technical Institute and David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute, is underway.

The new facility, which will accommodate 1500 students from grade 9 to 12, is scheduled to open in September 2019. It will have four floors and science labs, music, visual and media art rooms, gymnasiums and suites for construction technology, culinary arts, health and well-being and environmental sustainable development (including an urban farm).

Students will remain in the current school buildings during construction.

Please visit this site for regular updates. If you have any questions, please contact your school principal.
