At Birch Cliff we have a variety of sports programs including: Cross-Country, Tack and Field, Baseball, Borden Ball, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Flag Rugby and Ultimate.

We have an Intermediate Band that performs once before our holiday season and once again at the end of the school year.

Birch Cliff is also home to a Theater Troupe. Students in the Junior and Intermediate division are all welcome to participate in the Theatre Troupe for their annual Spring production.

Primary Arts and Crafts Club occurs during the winter months and provides an opportunity for the primary students to be creative and explore a variety of arts and crafts.

Folk Dance is a big part of Birch Cliff, with over 60 students (mostly in the primary and junior divisions) out on an annual basis.

Monthly STEM challenges - Each month, following our recognition assembly challenges range from: The Marshmallow and Egg Drop Challenges, to Paper Planes and Helicopters to difficult math problems and Fibonacci Art. Students and staff look forward to these challenges as it shows the character and creative thinking found at Birch Cliff.

Since 2010, Birch Cliff has had a Robotics team coached by a parent volunteer and a teacher. This team competes against other schools who are also trying to have their own robots complete specific tasks.

Chess club runs during the winter months, both at lunch and after school.

Code Club runs at recess and has students using the online Scratch Program
