The City Adult Learning Centre (CALC) is a secondary school that offers an academic program for adult students who wish to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). An adult student is defined as one who is 21 years of age or older. CALC is a Continuing Education School, an adult day school but subject to the regulations and procedures for Continuing Education.

We support all post secondary destinations: college, university, apprenticeship and workplace. Our innovative programs include CANEX Co-op and Personal Support Worker (accredited under the PSW Educational Program Accreditation effective October 9, 2012).

Registration to CALC takes place each Quad. Quads begin in September, November, February and April.

Quad 1 starts Sept. 6, 2018.  Pick up your registration appointment in the Main Office beginning June 5 between 8:30-3:30.

Summer School Registration is only available on-line. Please go to to register.

There are many supports available on site: Guidance (PLAR), Client Care Coordinator and Nurse Practitioners (from South Riverdale Community Health Centre), School Settlement Workers, and Immigrant Women's Health Centre.
