"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead

Tuesday Nov. 5th

Canadian and World Studies Department

What exciting times we are living in! There is so much happening on the local, national and international fronts that our classrooms are buzzing with conversations. The Geography, History, Civics, Law, Politics and Economics classes are plugging away on assessments and evaluations in preparation for the upcoming report card. The Grade 12 World Issues class had an opportunity to see the world through a variety of lenses at the World Press Photo Exhibit – it was a touching, shocking, and eye-opening experience. Some of our Grade 10 History classes are working hard on creating Remembrance day posters to be displayed in our main hallway during Veteran’s Week. The Grade 12 Law class is exercising their human rights in Canada by writing letters of complaint to government and industry leaders.
