Pizza Day
Pizza day is an important fundraiser for the school. Caregivers pre-order lunch for students via a link that is sent out to all families. It's a nice break from packing a lunch, and a great treat for the kids! Pizza day is also a great volunteer opportunity for parents and caregivers. The students are always very excited to see the volunteers, and it provides a valuable service to our school.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Back by popular demand, is our cookie dough fundraiser. We partner with Terra Cotta Cookies, and sell delicious, school safe cookie dough that you can bake at home with your family! Students and parents can sell these to their friends and family as well. The cookie dough bites are frozen, so they just need to be put in the oven - easy baking! They are sold online and will be delivered to our school and sent home with students who purchase them. We will also have a raffle and one lucky student will win a giant chocolate chip cookie!
Glen Park School Wear
At Glen Park, we love to show off our school spirit by wearing our school athletic wear! The school clothes are available on-line at different times during the school year. The students love sporting their school colours, and our cool wolverine logo! Even staff and parents are buying our school clothes. Stay tuned for a spring shop and a grad shop!
Movie Night
Bring your yoga mats and sleeping bags, for a movie night at school! Enjoy pizza and popcorn, while watching a movie with your friends!
Bingo Night
This will be a fun family event, that will include a few rounds of Bingo, snacks, and prizes!
Dance Party
The Glen Park Dance Party will happen in the spring and will be for all students from JK to Grade 6! There will be an awesome DJ playing everyone's favourite songs, while students and staff get to show off their moves. There will be snacks and raffle tickets and prizes to be won! This will be a great event for caregivers who wish to volunteer as there will be several things needed to make sure the party is perfect!
Burger Day
The best way to kick off the summer is with a BBQ! Look out for a burger day, at the end of the school year. This will be an exciting day for all students. A day off of lunches for parents and caregivers, and a final fundraiser to end off our school year!
