Computer Science @ LCI

Many occupations today are intricately connected to the proficient use of computers, and Lakeshore Collegiate offers a series of courses so high school students can sharpen the necessary skills for computer-related careers. Grade 10 Introduction to Computer Studies, grade 11 Introduction to Computer Science, and grade 12 Computer Science are great courses for those students who want to pursue a computer-related profession or just want to have a solid foundation of how computers work.

In these courses, students learn various computer languages and programming constructs, robotics, 3D game design, as well as various aspects of the computer’s hardware, software and networking.

Many students who take our computer science courses become successful people in both computer related and non-computer related fields.
