Science

Science @ LCI

Science permeates our lives. Science and technology are involved in every aspect of our lives from the air we breathe, to the food we eat, to the medicines we take, to the devices we take for granted in our everyday lives. It is obvious then, that science is also important in the international job market. A good scientific education can open up many doors for students at LCI. From engineering to dentistry, or from cancer research to maintaining a national park, a large percentage of the jobs today require a background in science. To meet the needs of all learners, we offer a wide variety of courses at all levels.

At LCI our knowledgeable teachers, and encouraging atmosphere provide students with an opportunity to learn science inside and outside of the classroom. Our students participate in many field trips, write some of the most competitive scientific contests, and have been accepted into the prestigious Science School at the Ontario Science Centre.
