TUESDAY PIZZA DAY LUNCHES WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
As the weather changes, our Lost and Found collection of item grows! Students will do a Lost and Found parade over the next few weeks and we encourage parents to drop by and claim any lost items. Special thanks to Cody parent Arundel Gibson for keeping things neat and tidy!
VOLUNTEERING AT MAURICE CODY
We value and appreciate the time and dedication that our parent volunteers have to offer. Thank you for your contributions to our learning community! Volunteers are required by the TDSB to complete a Police Reference Check. Police Reference Check forms are available in the school office. Once a reference check has been cleared, your name will be entered into the TDSB Volunteer Data Base. Once your name is in the Data Base, volunteers need only complete an annual Offence Declaration in order to update their police check status. This is a simple process which is done at the school. It is not a new police reference check and there is no cost. Returning volunteers are asked to please see Ms. Vala in the office to ensure that their Offence Declaration has been submitted. Thank you again for your support.

Volunteers are required for approximately 15 minutes in the morning, beginning at 8:30. If you are able to give of your time, even one morning per week, it would be greatly appreciated! Please contact Sue Porritt at email@example.com . Thank you!
LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Ms. Siegner needs parent volunteers to help in the library. Our library is extremely busy now that all classes have started visiting the library on a weekly basis. Parent volunteers are needed to help with book returns, shelving, assisting students with finding books and various other duties. If you would like to volunteer, please email your availability to Ms. Siegner at Mary.Siegner@tdsb.on.ca
