Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year at Maurice Cody!

We have had a great beginning to the school year! It has been lovely to meet and greet all of our returning and new students and families! Should you have any questions regarding classroom routines please contact your child's teacher or the Maurice Cody office at 416-393-9240.

If you have not already done so, please return the student information packages with all of the forms to the office. Your family should also have received ONE parent package to keep at home. Please contact us in the office if you are in need of a package. Also, please remember to return any photo orders (due October 5) or program registration forms to the office at this time.

A reminder to students and parents that we encourage litter less lunches. Children are asked to take home whatever they do not eat in order for you, as parents, to monitor their eating habits.

Also, given that we have a student population of 700 students, we kindly ask that you please label your child's lunch bag and water bottle as many students have the same items. Also, in the event that items are lost this facilitates their return.

Please join us at our second school meeting on Monday October 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the library.

Andrew Howard and Adelia Vala (on behalf of the amazing Maurice Cody staff)

VOLUNTEERING at Maurice Cody - We value and appreciate the time and dedication that our parent volunteers have to offer. Thank you for your contributions to our learning community! Returning volunteers are asked to please see Ms. Vala in the office to ensure that their Offence Declaration has been submitted.

KISS N' RIDE volunteers are always needed! Please see the attached letter with information about the Kiss N Ride program for 2015-16. We are ALWAYS in need of volunteers in order to have a minimum of two volunteers every day to receive students who are being dropped off. Volunteers are required for approximately 15 minutes in the morning, beginning at 8:30. If you are able to give of your time, even one morning per week, it would be greatly appreciated!
