In 1980 Terry showed us what courage, compassion and determination look like. Today that example is needed more than ever and we are inspired to join 4,000,000 Canadian students who are leading the way. By fundraising for innovative research our school community is literally changing the lives of Canadians facing cancer. Thanks to your donation, we’re driving cancer research forward, faster than ever.

Terry started a marathon against cancer and together, we can “Finish It”. We will be completing our Terry Fox walk as a school on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 after listening to our inspiring guest speaker, Kristen Fox (Terry Fox's niece).

Please consider donating to our Mill Valley fundrasing page by clicking the link below. Our school goal is to raise $1000.

Mill Valley Junior School is a small Kindergarten to Grade 5 school with a strong sense of community. The school opened in 1969 and was built as an open-concept school. Walls have been erected in the pod areas to create separate classrooms.

At Mill Valley we are committed to academic excellence, student well-being, and creating a safe & inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our staff is here for you—ready to partner with families and the community, support students, and celebrate the journey ahead. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, ask questions, or share your ideas.
