Once again we will be having a co-ed Ultimate Frisbee team at Norman Ingram. This might be a new sport for some students and tryouts will take place for five days in the gym during the month of March.  During this time students will work on throwing a disc and learning the rules of the game. Ultimate tryouts are open to all boys and girls in grade 5. Once the team has been formed there will be several practices before a game will be played. At the moment we do not have specific dates for games, but they usually start in the middle of May. Permission forms for these games will be handed out as need be.

The final team selection will be posted on the sports board.  Selection for this team will be primarily based on skill, spirit, and attendance to tryouts. To field a team we will need 14 players. 6 players are on the field at one time (3 girls, 3 boys).

Watch for more information about Ultimate tryouts in the spring.   Students must attend all tryouts to be eligible for the team. If there happens to be a conflict please email kim.lussier@tdsb.on.ca in advance. 

Note: Ultimate will not interfere with slo-pitch and track and field schedule.
