May 2017 Update
As the 2016-2017 school year begins to wind down, The Richview Students’ Council is still hard at work to ensure the final days for all students are as enjoyable as possible. In the coming weeks, the Executive team is hosting an afternoon Coffee House of music and poetry. The after school gathering on May 10th will be an opportunity for students to enjoy the talents of fellow classmates, while enjoying some sweet treats and some time to unwind in the midst of a very busy summative season.
On June 2nd, the group will host the annual Richview Fun Lunch, a carnival of sorts during an extended lunch hour. The event will have inflatable activities where students can actively work off the stresses of a busy academic season, while enjoying a free barbecue lunch. There will be drinks, hamburgers, cotton candy, and an ice cream truck – all the indulgent delights that students could want.
On June 21st, the formal for graduating students will take place at the beautiful Palais Royale. The evening of fine dining and dancing will celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of Richview’s grade 12 students, sending them off in style.
As always, the Students’ Council appreciates the support of the Richview community. All of the initiatives of the past year, from the clothing drives and food collections, to the Braeburn Community Holiday party would not have been possible without the collective support of Richview Saints.
The council looks forward to another fabulous year in the fall and wishes everyone a fantastic summer!

Braeburn Holiday Party
Dear Richview Parents, the annual Braeburn Kids Holiday Party held on Saturday, December 5th, for about fifty children, ages 5-12, from a local community after-school program was brilliant success. Thank you for your donations. They were very well received. The party consisted of arts and crafts, games, a pizza lunch, and a visit from "Santa", who delivered a gift to each child. Extra gifts were donated to special needs students at the Seneca School.
Sincerely, The Richview Students' Council; Christine Zdebiak and Carla Johnston (Staff Advisors)
