INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN BUSINESS (BTT2O)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

This course is designed for the student who wants to learn the basics of using a computer and the basics of Microsoft Office. Topics include keyboarding, Windows, Explorer, Word, PowerPoint and more. This course is the foundation for all the other computer courses.
Recommended Prerequisites: ESLDO Package


INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY: THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT (BTA3O)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

This course is designed for the student who already has a good foundation of computer skills, especially keyboarding, Windows and Word. Topics include intermediate Word, introduction to Excel and intermediate PowerPoint. Students will continue to develop their ability to use Microsoft Office effectively and efficiently and will continue to increase their keyboarding speed.
Recommended Prerequisites: ESLDO and BTT2O (or equivalent experience)


INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE WORKPLACE (BTX4E)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

In this course students will further develop their Word skills to a level that is expected in the business world. Students will learn how to take advantage of the features of Microsoft Word by creating real-world documents. Topics will include formatting, styles, tables, columns, sections, outlines, mail merge and more.
Recommended Prerequisites: ESLDO and BTA3O


INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY MULTIMEDIA SOLUTIONS (BTX4C)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

In this course students will focus on learning one of the most commonly used and popular programs in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel. Topics will include formatting, formulas, built-in functions, conditional statements, graphs and charts, business problem solving and more.
Recommended Prerequisites: ESLDO and BTA3O
