Grade 5/6, has completed a major puppetry unit.  In Language, we are working on narrative script writing, creation of posters for advertisements, and how to read for dramatic effect.  Our puppetry unit continues in both Visual Art and Drama, with the creation of our own puppets and learning the skill of puppeteering.

 

In Mathematics,our class working on problem solving as a focus, across all strands of Math.  In addition, the Grade 6 students are  using new Macbook laptop computers to investigate more of the math curriculum.  Finally, our class is looking forward to developing a variety of independent work strategies that will help them succeed in the years to come.
