Honourable Justice Allen M. Linden

After graduating in 1953, Allen Martin Linden attended the University of Toronto, (5T6) Osgoode Hall (1960), and the University of California at Berkley LL.M. and J.S.D. (1967). Following eighteen years as a Professor of law at Osgoode Hall, he was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of Ontario (1978) and twelve years later the Federal Court of Appeal where he continues to sit.

Allen Martin Linden and his wife, Marjorie, have three daughters who are also lawyers and are married to lawyers. They have six grandchildren, all of whom they expect will also become lawyers.

Allen fondly remembers the great times at Vaughan Road Collegiate Institute in the 1950’s learning from the dedicated teachers: Tuck, Harston, Robinson, Horwood, Taylor, Kenyon, Nelson, Prior, Curran, and others; the dances, the sporting events, the trip to Canandaigua (1953), and the junior T.D.I.A.A. basketball championship in 1952.
