Learning from the Land: Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Learning

The land, plants and local Indigenous history have many things to teach us about our use of resources and Biodiversity.  Students will work in groups to gather information on trees that were used to provide shelter, food, medicine and technology.  They will then develop skills using Inquiry and STEM based approaches. The day is focused around Indigenous ways of learning where students gather information from the land, develop skills as a team and share their knowledge with their classroom community.
