Dear Bloor students, parents & guardians and community members,

We hope you and your families are coping well under the challenging conditions posed by the COVID-19 virus. During this exceptional time we would like to share share resources related to Learning From Home and Teaching From Home.

We hope and look forward to circumstances in which we can interact and engage in person in the near future.

 

School Closure

Schools will remain closed until the September 2020 start of the new school year.

 

Ministry & Board Learning Resources

The Ministry of Education has provided Learn at Home resources designed to assist independent learning at home. Please do make use of these resources.

The Toronto District School Board has also compiled a list of Student Learning Resources, which we encourage you to explore as an additional supplement to home learning. In particular you may find the TDSB Virtual Library to be a very useful resource.

 

BCI Learning Resources

We are working with our partners in education to formulate a plan that will be equitable for all students. We are eager to assist our students in their learning and will be posting important resources and information tailored to the needs of our community here in the near future.

Graduation

The Ministry of Education has determined that the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test will not be a graduation requirement, nor will the customary 40 hours of Community Service.
