Quad 4 is well underway and registration is now closed. Information will soon be available for registration for Quad 1 of the 2022-2023 school year. Quad 1 begins on September 8, 2022. Registration dates are below and on our Student Services website (tab on the left).
Current students will have opportunities to pick next quad's courses in early June this quad. Stay tuned to classroom and school-wide announcements.
RETURNING CALC OR TDSB STUDENTS
If you have attended CALC in previous quads, or have recent transcripts (from the past three years) from an Ontario high school, we will have online sign up in June and in person or online sign up in August (You will need your transcripts, Govt ID, and Cdn Status documents).
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION for QUAD 1
Assessment and registration sessions for NEW students are held in-person only and will be in late August on a first come, first serve basis. Students are assessed for English and depending on those results and personal goals, on Math and possibly Science. Doors open on August 26th at 9am in the Education Centre at the south end of our campus at 1 Danforth Avenue. Doors open for new student registration again at 9am on August 29th and also on August 30th. Classes do fill so there are more choices on the earlier days.
Required Documents for Registration:
Please bring a pen and the following original documents (cell phone pictures will not be accepted) on the date of your registration appointment:
· proof of citizenship or residence status in Canada
· proof of Refugee/Claimant status and valid Study Permit
· valid government picture ID
· transcript or credit counseling summary from an Ontario High School
· your Ontario Health Card (optional)
SPECIALTY PROGRAMS APPLICATIONS

The City Adult Learning Centre (CALC) is a secondary school that offers an academic program for adult students, ages 21 and over, who wish to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). We support all post secondary destinations: college, university, apprenticeship and workplace.
Our innovative programs include CANEX Co-op, Personal Support Worker and Childcare Assistant Certificate Program.
Registration to CALC takes place each Quad. Quads begin in September, November, February and April.
TDSB CONNECTS APP for your phone or device
City Adult Learning Centre (CALC) has replaced its paper student agenda with the “TDSB Connects” app.
The APP is a living resource for CALC’s staff and students. The App provides information regarding school schedules, school events, and announcements. It enables students to be better informed and organized. Students can customize the notifications, news and calendar information they receive based on their own classes and interest.
Stay up to date and download the the TDSB Connects app from the App Store (IOS) or Google Play and Select your school: City Adult Learning Centre
Once the App is downloaded set the school to the City Adult Learning Centre and select "Adult" for channels and timetables.
