Hello Duke!

All students in Grades 4-8 - Ms. Pierce, Mr. Pedlar, Ms. Alexander, Ms. Clayton: Attention all grade 4-8 students. Duke’s Got Talent! That’s right. It’s back! We are looking for singers, rappers, actors, dancers, comedians, magicians, musicians, sports stars, and any other talents that you would like to show off. Auditions for Duke’s talent show are starting soon. If you are interested in auditioning, there will be a sign-up sheet outside Room 204 starting next week. Come on, Duke, let’s see what you’ve got!

Primary and Junior Choir Members - Ms. Pierce: Attention all Primary and Junior Choir members. Choir rehearsals start up again next week. Primary Choir is Tuesday at lunch and Junior Choir is Thursday at lunch. New members are welcome and I look forward to seeing all the current members back again. Please remember to bring your lunch.

Pizza Lunch - Parent Council: Today is Pizza lunch.  It is very exciting but there are some reminders so that all students can enjoy it.
All students will be served pizza at the start of the lunch period.  Please be patient and follow instructions from Teachers and volunteers.
Students will eat pizza wherever they usually eat lunch - there are no changes to regular lunch plans.  If you usually eat in the cafeteria or gym, then that is where you will eat pizza lunch.  Students who leave at lunch need to line up where their homeroom eats lunch and get pizza BEFORE they go out.  
Students with Clubs/choir/activities will pick up their pizza and then go to their activity.  There will be no special lines for any students.
There will be no pizza served at the END of the lunch period.  Once service is completed, the volunteers pack up and leave the lunch spaces.
Please speak to any of the Adult volunteers if there are issues. No one needs to go without lunch!  
Please make sure to put your juice box straw in the GARBAGE and the box in the recycling bin!
