Phys Ed Ms. Landry

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I will be teaching the Physical Education programme to all students from JK-Gr. 5. I will also be teaching the Health programme to Gr. 1-5 students. Please have a look at this website to find information on Health & P.E. welcome letters, Health & P.E. curriculum, Health & P.E. timetable, Dundas P.E. clothing, extra-curricular activities, special events, fundraisers, the Right To Play programme and the Health Action Committee (HAC).

A gentle reminder that all children need to wear running shoes to participate in the physical education programme. If your child cannot tie his/her own shoes, he/she will need to wear Velcro or slip on running shoes. Students in Grades 1-5 must also wear comfortable pants (i.e., jogging pants, exercise leggings, shorts -  no jeans or lined pants) and a t-shirt or long sleeve t-shirt (no sweaters) to class.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at (416) 393-9565.

Looking forward to a great year of physical activity and FUN!

Ms. Landry :)

SKI TRIP TO SNOW VALLEY SKI RESORT

The Gr. 4 and 5 students have the opportunity to participate in the Annual Down Hill Ski Day at Snow Valley Ski Resort near Barrie. The trip will take place on Thursday, March 12th. The students will need to return 3 permission forms (Yes/No Form, Snow Valley Form and Medical Form) and $40.00 (includes transportation, ski equipment rental, ski lessons, lift ticket) to Ms. Landry by Friday, February 27th. If a parent decides that he/she does not want his/her child to participate, the NO Form will need to be returned to school. If the student does not attend, he/she will still need to come to school on that day. Please see Ms. Landry if you have any questions or concerns.

THE RIGHT TO PLAY Programme

This year we raised $1, 153.25!!! Thank you for your continued support!!!

NOTE TO PARENTS: There was someone who ordered a Terry Fox T-shirt who has not claimed it. Please come and see me if this is your order. Thank you.
