Pathways to Education is an organization born out of the Regent Park Community Health Centre. It helps youth in low-income communities graduate from high school and transition into post-secondary education or other post-secondary opportunities. The Pathways program provides a comprehensive set of academic, financial and social supports to youth.

Pathways at Eastdale
Students enrolled in Pathways maintain contact with a Student / Parent Support Worker (SPSW) who advocates for them in the school system. A SPSW visits Eastdale one day per week to follow up with Pathways students and connect with their teachers. An in-house tutoring program for Pathways students started in the 2014/15 school year, with volunteer tutors from Ryerson’s Tri-Mentoring Program providing lunchtime academic support at Eastdale.
Eligibility:
Students & their parents/guardians must be living in Regent Park & Moss Park (north side of King to the south side of Gerrard & east side of Sherbourne to the river) and currently enrolled in Grades 9-12.
