6A Davis

Welcome

Welcome Parents/Guardians of the Grade 6A Class. We are Leaders in Training!  As another form of communication, between parent and teacher, I will be posting information that well help your child be successful in school as well as what is going on in our classroom. We encourage you to check this site regularly to find out things that our class is involved in. If you have any specific questions on things you read on this site, please feel free to contact me personally!

SCHOOL PLANNER

Our virtual Brightspace classroom and the Elmbank Website Please refer to the planner for the following school policies as well as other important information: School Uniform, Lunch Routines, Late Policy and Absent Procedures, Code of Conduct and Homework Procedures.

ORGANIZATION

It is important for your child to be organized and arrive on time in both the morning and after lunch. Only those students, with parental permission, may go home for lunch during the second nutrition break.

It is strongly encouraged for your child to bring a snack to school on a daily basis or take part in the school-wide snack program.

Your child should carry a pencil case containing pencils, pens, eraser, pencil crayons, markers, small ruler, and a simple calculator (with square root symbol). As well, a binder would be beneficial to organize all school notebooks. Your child should also have three-hole lined paper readily available.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS TEACHER RELATIONSHIP

We believe that a good parent/guardian teacher relationship is necessary for your child’s school
success. Working together will allow your child to share in much success.
