Important Information:
Dear Fisherville Families,
We
hope that you have all started 2024 in a happy and healthy way.
Here
at Fisherville SPS, the safety of our students, our staff and our families is
our number one priority.
Parking
Lot
You
may use the school parking lot if you are coming into the building to visit the
office/meet with a teacher. Please be very careful in the parking
lot. Reduce your speed and be very vigilant of cars/people walking in the
lot.
Walking
to school
Most
of our students walk to school each day. Please remind them to refrain
from wearing ear buds or using their cell phones. This creates a very
unsafe situation for them. They need to be aware of their surroundings at
all times.
Wearing clothing for the weather and having the appropriate
footwear is essential, especially during the cold winter. Slides and
crocs are not permitted at school. Students must wear closed toed shoes
such as running shoes, boots.
Physical Education
We ask our students to have an indoor pair of shoes to wear in the
gym. Students who do not have running shoes will not be able to
participate in the gym. Students must change into comfortable clothing in
order to participate.
School Schedule
Our school starts 9 a.m. The school doors are open at 8:40
for children to come in and head to the cafeteria. We serve morning snack
to students who are registered in the Nutrition Program. Students make
their way to their lockers at 8:50 then go to class. Students must be in
class by 9 a.m. Anyone who arrives after 9 a.m. is considered late, and
must get a late slip from the office. This late is recorded on a
student's report card.
Cell phone Policy
The use of air buds and cell phones are not permitted in
school. The only time a student may use their cell phone is if a teacher
allows them to do so.
Lunch
Program
Our lunch program is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
Students eat in the cafeteria and then go outside until 12:25 p.m. Please
help us by ensuring your child has a healthy lunch. Pop is not allowed at
school. Our school is a
peanut free environment.
Students who have permission to leave school property at lunch
must sign out and leave the school property. They may return no earlier
than 12:20 p.m. They are not permitted to go out, purchase food, and
return to eat in the cafeteria.
Food delivery services are not permitted for students (Uber Eats,
Skip the Dishes, etc.)
Student

important. Please call the safe arrival number to advise us when your
child is absent. You may leave a message.
