Playground
 

• Keep the playground litter-free; throw garbage in the garbage cans.
• Follow safety rules posted in the school.
• No tackle games are permitted.
• No playfighting.
• Sledding will only be permitted during class time, but not recess and lunch.
• No throwing snow and ice.
• Tennis balls may only be thrown against the wall, not the windows.

Playscape:

• You may only go to the playscape if there is a staff member supervising.
• No touching anybody else.
• No running.
• Take turns on the equipment.
• You may not hang upside down.
• Scarves must be well tucked into coats.
• No food, balls, or ropes.

 Students are encouraged to:

• Play non-contact games on the field and pavement.
• Skip rope
• Play line games painted on the pavement
• Play ball games
• Play with classroom equipment (balls, skipping ropes, frisbees)

Entry, Exit, Halls & Stairs
 

• Line up when the bell rings.
• Enter in single file behind the teacher.
• Walk quietly through the halls and up the stairs.
• Hold the railing on the stairs.
• Hold on to any items.

Lunchroom
 

• Walk in the lunchroom.
• Respond immediately to a signal for quiet.
• Stay seated at all times.
• Raise your hand if you need to ask something.
• Talk softly to your friends.
• Clean your table and the floor.
• No throwing food.
• Remain on school grounds during lunch unless you have a note from a parent. 

Items students may not bring to school
 

• Skateboards
• Toboggans
• Electronic games
• Cell phones must be turned off and kept out of sight during school hours.
• Trading Cards
• Hard balls, hockey sticks, and baseball bats

The school cannot be responsible for any items brought from home.
