Primary choir meets every Wednesday at lunch.  Just a reminder to those that normally go home for lunch, that you must bring a packed lunch to rehearsals.

Sunday, December 8, 2013. 

Wow!  Primary choir sang strong and beautifully at Councillor Crawford's 4th Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Variety Village on Danforth Ave.  Choir, you really represented H.A. Halbert Jr. P.S. well! A huge thank you to the parents for bringing your children out to this event despite the long wait prior and chilly weather. A special thanks to assistant choir director Mrs. Weiser and our cheering squad (Mrs. Miller and family, Mrs. West-Maidens, and Mr Joyce).  I hope everyone got to enjoy the caroling, performances, candles, hot chocolate, lighting of the tree, and saw our special visitor arrive by vintage fire truck (that Santa sure gets around!).  It was a nice way to bring in this festive season!

 

Tuesday, December 17, 2013. H.A. Halbert's HOLIDAY WINTER CONCERT. 

Please come out for our evening concert.  Flyer to come!  Children should wear dark pants (boys) or dark skirt (girls) and either a white shirt or red or green top. Primary choir members can come to room 13 20 minutes prior to concert start time.
UPDATE:  Great job singing once again Primary Choir at our Holiday Winter Concert!  We'll learn new songs in the New Year!
