Here is my schedule

March is the month of many holidays but we still managed to fit in some fun activities and events.

We started our first ever Houseleague games this month. The student lead Health Action Leadership Club is overseeing and running games in the gym six times a month. All the students in the school have been placed on to teams based on popular Toronto sports teams: The Blue Jays, The Rock, The Maple Leafs, The Argonauts, The Raptors and Toronto Football Club.

Each month a different division plays.
March: Juniors
April: Primaries
May: Juniors
June: Primaries

Two teams join for some games in the gym at a time. Up to 5 Spirit Stars can be given to either team and is then placed on the wall in the hallway. This is a friendly competition to promote activity and sportsmanship

The Groove EdgeUcation

This Tuesday, March 22nd, all classes from grade 1 to grade 6 will get the opportunity to participate in some dancing in the gym as part of the dance curriculum for Physical Education. This is a fun, one day program which teaches dance and creative movement in an inclusive and holistic way.
