Parenting and Family Literacy Centre

The goal of the centre is to provide opportunities for:

  • Parents and children to become familiar with the school and establish positive home-school connections.
  • Participation in a family literacy program that helps children develop and build essential literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Families to receive information about community resources.
  • Parents to discuss parenting concerns.
  • Families to borrow books from our multi-lingual lending library.

We are open Monday - Thursday, from 8:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.  Free for all families with babies and children up to 6 years of age, no pre-registration needed, and we provide snacks!  So please come join us for a variety of play-based learning activities that include music and story time, sand, water, art, as well as fun with numbers.

Below is our daily schedule.  Please drop in when you have the time.
