STEM Night Thu May 4, 5:30 - 7:30

Monday, May 01, 2023 07:54 AM

STEM Night is less than one week away! On Thursday, May 4th, 2023, families are invited to our Annette and High Park Family STEM Night!

STEM Night will take place in the evening from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5:25 p.m.)

Over the course of the year, students in all grade levels have been exploring topics in the Science, Mathematics and Social Studies Curriculum that connect with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. On STEM Night, students and families will have the opportunity to learn more about the UN Goals by visiting classrooms and engaging in various hands-on activities provided by some of our local community partners.

Please take a moment to explore the Virtual Map Below!

We also invite you to visit our newly renovated Library Learning Commons! Families are invited to bring an old t-shirt and turn it into something new in the Makerspace housed in our new Library! If you have extra t-shirts, we will happily take those as well. t-shirts can be dropped off at the Annette office all next week.

A donation of a non-perishable food item or a new, unopened toiletry item (shampoo, toothpaste, diapers, sanitary products, etc.) is also appreciated. We will be collecting donations to deliver to a local community organization in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and Goal 6: Clean Water & Sanitation.

We look forward to seeing you then!
