Grade 6 students from our feeder schools are scheduled to visit Hodgson in the spring. 

 

Students will come to Hodgson with their class and homeroom teachers. They will have a chance to hear presentations about Hodgson by students and staff. At the end of the session, students will return to their schools with their classes and teachers. They will also have a student-guided tour of Hodgson.

 

We will start in the gym at 9:30 am and finish at 11:00 am (to allow time for everyone to return to school for lunch).

My child attends another school, but wants to go to Hodgson. Can she join the visit?: Yes, if your primary address is in our attendance area, your child is welcome to join us.  Please call the office to let us know so we can be prepared.

We don't live in your area. Can we join on that day?  Sorry, the visit is only for students who live in our attendance area.  When you move into our area and have registered, we would be happy to have a school visit and tour.  Just give us a call.

 

As part of our plan to help students get ready for Hodgson middle school, we are committed to visiting our students in their current classroom before the end of the school year.

In May we will visit classes at our feeder schools. We bring students who speak about life at Hodgson. We also plan to discuss the transition to Hodgson Middle School and answer any questions the students may have. (They always have great questions.)We are looking forward to visiting our students at Davisville, Eglinton, Maurice Cody and Oriole Park.
