Scholarships

FOUR STRATEGIES FOR RESEARCHING SCHOLARSHIPS

  1. The Guidance Office advertises scholarships that come to our office in the Senior Students Bulletins, in the Scholarship Binder in the reception area and on the Scholarship Bulletin Board in the hall across the Guidance Office. These come in at staggered times throughout the year. Be aware of those that require nomination by Humberside’s Committee and don’t miss the nomination deadline for these scholarships.

CHECK THE GUIDANCE GOOGLE CLASSROOM UNDER "CLASSWORK", THEN "SCHOLARSHIP"

  2. ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca - Individual university scholarships, requirements and application procedures

  3. (a) University Web Sites - For example, scholarships and financial aid of Ontario universities web site: http://www.osca.ca

    (b) Books – e.g. Scholarships (available in the Guidance Office and the Library)

    (c) Scholarship Web Sites: These websites on the internet give students access to information on thousands of Canadian entrance-level scholarships, bursaries, and other financial awards
