Guidance Announcements

April 22:  Grade 12 students who are taking night school courses with the TCDSB, please forward mid-term marks to your guidance counsellor so the mark can be verified and inputed into OUAC and OCAS.

April 3:  

  1. Registration for on-line summer school will begin Wednesday April 8th.  Information can be found at www.creditprograms.ca 
  2. Both TDSB and TCDSB night school are going on-line the week of April 6th.  Please check your email for information from your   night school teacher.

April 1:  To help grade 12 students make post-secondary decisions, virtual tours of colleges and universities can be found at:

March 30:  

1.  Ms. Vranesic will look after students with the last name beginning with the letter P-Z.

2. The ONE City Scholarship Committee is responding to the Covid- 19 situation by making the following adjustments:

1. Students can now apply without their references having to complete their responses at the same time. We would prefer that they apply and deal with their references later.

2. We are asking students to send us notice of their interest to our email address: onecityfundinfo@gmail.com, so that we can inform prospective applicants if there is any change in our process and application dates because of Covid-19.

The MCI Guidance and Career Services Department offers a wide range of services for all students Grade 9 -12. The following services are provided:

  • Job counselling and resume assistance
  • Help with connecting with tutors
  • Transcripts of academic history
  • Information on volunteer opportunities
  • Help with concerns about your grades, study skills, etc.
  • Help setting student educational goals
