A McKee Bee is a student who contributes to the positive culture of McKee Public School with a specific action or ongoing positive attitude or behaviour.

There are lots of ways to participate - you can choose from activities like these:

Certified EcoSchool

• You can be musical as part of our award-winning McKee Choir or Guitar Club
• You can burn off that extra energy with McKee house league and inter-school sports teams
• You can run and jump to new heights in the Cross-Country or Track and Field
• You can help keep children safe as an Office Prefect or Hall Monitor
• You can introduce new families to McKee as an Ambassador
• You can raise Ecological awareness by joining the Eco-Kids or Gardening Club
• You can help support a love of reading in the library as a Library Monitor
• You can help out in the kindergarten classrooms as a Student Kindergarten Helper
• You can give your mind a workout with our Chess, Origami or Coding Club


• McKee is a proud Ecoschool. We've worked hard to promote environmental issues to students and their families. Our Eco-Kids are leaders in our school who promote reducing waste and energy use, reusing materials, and recycling. We've partnered with outside agencies such as the City of Toronto, Canadian Auto workers, Ontario Trillium Foundation and others. We've been awarded a "Platinum" seal for our efforts.
  
  

  Terry Fox Run

  Since 1998, McKee has been a strong supporter of the Terry Fox Foundation.  Our annual run strives to maintain the heroic efforts and integrity embodied by Terry in his Marathon of Hope. We look forward each year to supporting this worthy cause.
