Spring 2026 has arrived!  Wishing a warm couple of months to all our PJ families and friends!  We have had a cold stretch of weather to start April but the weather in May is warming and grass is growing.  Please remind your child/children to always dress for the weather.  Rain showers in spring can be unpredictable so please checking the weather the night before school as a great routine for students to learn to dress appropriately for the day ahead.  Please check that you (or designated family member) are receiving the weekly Principal's Message via email.

School Times

8:30 a.m. Grades 1 to 6 Yard supervision begins

8:45 am - School Entry for K-6

10 am - 10:10 am Recess

11:30 am - 12:20 pm Lunch

1:40 pm - 1:50 pm Recess

3:00 pm - School dismissal

Personal Items

Please label all personal items. Students are encouraged to have indoor shoes especially to be prepared for physical education classes, and to keep the school clean and tidy. Bring a reusable water bottle every day. Valuable items (such as electronic devices) are to be kept at home. Primary students are encouraged to bring an extra set of clothing which can be kept in their backpack. 

Lunch

Students are organized into 2 groups that have 25-minute lunch period in our South gym and 25-minute lunch recess.  Students have the option to go home for lunch, if a family member picks them up at 11:30 am and drops them back off at school at 12:20 pm. For students who need to remain at school, a litterless lunch is strongly encouraged (using reusable containers).

Please note Entry and Dismissal times. Inform the school when your child will be late or absent. TDSB Safe Arrival policy requires a phone call home for students who are late or absent unless the school has been notified. The automated phone system will contact home until verification has been made to explain the absence.
