REGISTRATION EDVANCE PROGRAM (18-20)

Registration: CLOSED

 

 

If you are between the ages of 18-20 and would like to register for IN-PERSON school at SCAS, please fill out the following required forms below.

New Students To SCAS

 

1 - REGISTRATION

     a) Registration Link

     b) Registration Form 2022-23 (New Students) <-- Download / Fill-in and Print
 

2 - Please UPLOAD a CREDIT COUNSELLING SUMMARY/TRANSCRIPT from your PREVIOUS SCHOOL. Contact your previous school for this information.


3 - COMING FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL BOARD (outside of the TDSB)?

Please have an ADMINISTRATOR OR GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR (not student) complete this Referral form.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • You must be 18 years of age to begin in the SCAS Edvance program. 
  • Spots in courses are limited. We will try to accommodate your course requests.
  • Once you've been scheduled, you will receive a phone call or email confirming that you've been registered. 
  • CLASSES BEGIN ON February 3rd, 2023. You must attend on this day and pick up your schedule in the main foyer

PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT AND RECOGNITION (PLAR) 2022/2023 

 

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is the formal evaluation and credit-granting process whereby students may obtain credits for prior learning. Prior learning includes the knowledge and skills that students have acquired, in both formal and informal ways, outside secondary school.  Students may have their knowledge and skills evaluated against the expectations outlined in provincial curriculum policy documents in order to earn credits towards the secondary school diploma.

The 2022/2023 PLAR Challenge process will kick off with a Virtual PLAR Information Session for Families on January 18, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
