Welcome to Swansea Public School

Since opening its doors in 1890, Swansea has undergone many changes, completing a

recent 16-classroom addition in early 2016. Our students enjoy excellent programs in both English and French, and engaging rotary subjects in physical education, music, library, and technology. We are fortunate to have a double gym/double field, a nearby pond and forest, a dedicated staff, and a caring, diverse community. Swansea Public School: an amazing place to learn and grow.

Click on the thumbnails below to view two of the many excellent video book talks made by the students of grade 8. The task was to create a script, storyboard, then a video about an interesting book. Students used images, special effects, music and sounds to help tell their stories. Mr. Higgins, Ms. Legacy and Ms. Scott were very impressed with the literacy and technical skills of the students in their English classes. Please enjoy watching.
