Located at Scarborough Outdoor Education School, just north of Huntsville, Ontario, Camp Kearney encompasses 400 hectares of beautiful rolling hardwood and coniferous forests and includes 3 pristine lakes in the Canadian Shield country. The immediate waterfront is a very private sandy beach. Facilities include 3 residences with all amenities, out-cabins, a dining hall and indoor activity areas.
Hillside Nature Camp is an exciting and vibrant camp based in the soon to be Rouge National Urban Park in Scarborough, Ontario. Each week campers connect with nature, exploring the surrounding woods and wetlands in a safe and fun environment. Children participate in various activities including: arts and crafts, visits from guest speakers, co-operative games, field trips and weekly cook-outs around the campfire. One day each week, the camp travels to other conservation areas and parks. Whether it is for one week or more, your child should prepare for an adventure to remember!
Located at the Island Natural Science School this camp is for children ages 9-13. This fun-filled, 5-day camp is an opportunity to experience a variety of exciting and active programs in the beautiful natural setting of the Toronto Islands. Since 1960, the Island School has offered year round outdoor education programs for children in Toronto.
The Etobicoke Field Studies Centre, in partnership with the Continuing Education Department, are proud to offer the EFSC Eco Leadership Camp. At this summer experience, we incorporate ecological literacy into active outdoor learning to promote leadership and stewardship through Global Competencies. Our week will include a variety of hands on activities in the natural environment, and promote nature journaling, while incorporating journey sticks, photography and art connections.
