School LogoWelcome to Twentieth St. Jr. Public School!

We are proud to educate children in the Lakeshore community and take pride in the service we provide to each child that attends our school. At Twentieth St. PS we strive to provide an educational environment that is engaging. Students are encouraged to work hard in class to meet their learning goals and get involved in extra curricular activities. Furthermore, we have four Intensive Support Programs (ISP)  to meet the needs of Special Education Students. Students in the ISP classes are taught by caring teachers and support staff and are integrated into the regular day school programs as often as possible. We look forward to seeing you at Twentieth St. PS!

Meet Bryony Hupka - Our School Psychologist

Hello Twentieth Street School Community!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Bryony Hupka, I am a Clinical and School Psychologist.

As a School Psychologist, my primary responsibility is to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.  One of my primary duties is conducting comprehensive psychological assessment of students' learning and social/emotional development to identify learning strengths and needs, diagnose psychological disorders, and to recommend effective intervention strategies.  I provide consultation to teachers and school support teams on classroom programming and behaviour management techniques to prevent and remediate learning and behaviour issues. I also provide counselling and crisis management support, as well as professional development workshops for teachers and school staff.

I find my job extremely rewarding and really enjoy working with students, their families and the school community to facilitate academic engagement and success!
