Vradenburg Happenings 2018-2019
Timely and on-going communication between home and school is an essential component for maintaining a strong partnership. Regular emails, called the "Vradenburg Happenings" will be sent home to inform parents of school news, events, and celebrations of student learning. These email will be copied below.

Believe it or not, tomorrow is the first day of June!! It is truly amazing how fast the year is flying by. So many great things have been going on this year, and as we begin to wind down the year, June will be no different. Play day, folk dancing, community BBQ, freezie fun days, and grade 6 graduation are just some of the wonderful events that will be happening over the next few weeks.
Vradenburg is a busy place, with many wonderful opportunities for our students. Everything from pizza lunches to class trips make our school a special one. These events would be impossible if it were not for the support of our parents, guardians, and community members. As a recognition to those who have contributed to the success of the school year by volunteering their time to support various programs, we would like to invite you to a coffee and treat appreciation event next Thursday, June 6th at 8:00 am in the back area of the school. We hope that you will be able to join us as we celebrate the partnership between home and school.
During our volunteer appreciation event, students will also be welcome to run a few “victory laps” as part of our wrap-up celebrations for our amazing kilometer club event, followed by a group photo. Later in the day, we will be holding a school assembly for students to celebrate achievements and reflect on this amazing Vradenburg tradition. Thank you to all of the parents, staff, and community members that came out in the mornings and helped to make this event such a success, even though the weather was not always on our side.
