Students are given instruction on how to use a compass and then will have an opportunity to take compass bearings at specific areas within the park. Students will practice their observation skills using photos of the designated areas as well as learn about perspective. In order to build on the partnership developed in the morning, the class will participate in a variety of team building activities in the afternoon.
