• Visual Arts – Grades 7, 8 and 9
• Digital/Comprehensive Arts – Grades 7, 8 and 9
• Music (Band) – Grades 7, 8, and 9
• Music (Strings) – Grades 7, 8, and 9

How can I support my child in the Arts?

• Encourage your child to come for extra help when it is needed
• Communicate with your Arts teacher if there are any concerns
• Encourage your child to take part in extra-curricular Arts activities
• Support your child through attending Arts Nights and other Zion community initiatives

What Extra-Curricular Events are happening this year in the Arts?

• Winter Arts Night – December 10^th – 7-9 pm
• Spring Arts Night – April 21^rd – 7-9 pm
• Zion Drama Play – March 30^th  and  March 31^st  – 7-9 pm
• TDSB Visual Art Exhibition – May/June 2016 (date TBA)
• Ontario String Association Festival – April 2016

When are Rehearsals taking place in the Arts?

• Art Club - Wednesdays 3:05-4:15 pm (Sept. - June) - Ms. Horvath and Ms. Kang
• Senior Orchestra Thursdays 3:10-4:15 – Ms. Schon
• Senior Band Tuesdays 3:10-4:15 – Ms. Schon
• Strings – Mondays and Wednesdays – lunch – Ms. Schon
• Band – Tuesdays and Thursdays – lunch – Mr. Caligiuri
• Art Studio – Monday-Friday – lunch – Ms. Horvath
• School Play – lunch rehearsals- TBA- Mr. Villa
