School Immunizations

Updates from our Liaison Nurse: School Immunization and Updating your Child's Immunization Records

School-Based Vaccines

You can receive these vaccines at your doctors ‘offices. If you do not have a health care provider, please contact Health Care Connect  for information and assistance.

The Meningococcal (required under ISPA or have a valid exemption), Human Papillomavirus and Hepatitis B vaccines are available to students in grade 7 and 8 through the School Immunization Program (SIP). TPH is planning community catch up clinics in the new year. Check back for more information. Students in grade 9 to 12 can still access these vaccines through their doctors’ offices. Physicians can order the vaccine directly from public health.

People Without OHIP

People who are not insured can reach out to a Community Health Centre (CHC) to receive health services. We recommend you call in advance to confirm vaccination services are available.

Coffee with Cops

Before the Winter Break, Bliss Carman Hosted our First Coffee and Conversation with our TPS Partners

We had a great turn out of both parents and students at our first event.  We had many members from 43 Division along with the TPS Traffic Division which spans the entire city, not only 43 Division.  We even had a little one on one competition!
