Avondale Secondary Alternative School is a small and caring community where every student is accepted, valued and celebrated.  At Avondale, students take an active role in creating a dynamic program and learning culture.  We offer intellectually rigorous courses at the academic and university/college preparation levels. Our teaching approach centres on dialogue and student engagement. We also run many opportunities for experiential learning and student leadership.
