Welcome to Garden Avenue Junior Public School!  

We are a vibrant and caring school community for students in Kindergarten through Grade Six. At Garden, we value each and every student and are committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and respectful learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to thrive. Our dedicated staff work hard to provide a positive, engaging, and inclusive educational experience for all our students.

Although we are a small school, we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities to enrich our students’ school experience. These include Cross Country Running, Track and Field, Book Club, Knitting Club, Lego Club, Soccer Club, Ball Hockey Club, Chess Club, and many more. We understand the importance of building connections beyond the classroom and are proud to offer these opportunities during recess, lunch, and before or after school, helping students discover new interests and build strong relationships.

We also prioritize the health and well-being of our students by integrating mindfulness and self-reflection into their daily routines. Initiatives such as our daily Mindful Activity and access to the Reflection Room provide students with a chance to pause, reset, and develop essential emotional regulation skills.
