Principal's Message

Welcome to York Memorial Collegiate Institute's website. In 1929, the council of the Township of York decided to build an institution of higher learning in memory of its youth who served in the First World War. It is with pride that we share that legacy with you as you navigate this site.

Recognized officially as an historic site, York Memorial C.I. continues to deliver strong academics, athletics, and a commitment to community service, as it has for the past 80 years.

York Memorial is located in the west end of Toronto at the corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Keele Street. The school offers a wide range of academic programs including our specialized R.U.S.H. Program-Pre-AP and Advanced Placement opportunities to all York Memorial students.

We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and enriching school environment. Our commitment to academic excellence and achievement is recognized by many universities and colleges in Ontario and beyond.

Please explore our website for additional information about our school and its educational programmes.
