COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream Funding Project
Our School has a COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream Funding Project.

Brown Junior Public School

At Brown Junior Public School, our students are academics, artists, athletes and humanitarians!

Academics and Beyond!

Throughout the year, our students enjoy academic enrichment opportunities (like math contests, scrabble teams, and our annual speech competition), artistic performance opportunities (like our choirs, recorder ensembles, itinerant band and strings program, and drama and script clubs), outreach opportunities (like our clothing, food and book drives, and musical performances for local seniors), and opportunities to try out for numerous competitive sports teams (football, hockey, badminton, swimming, and many more!).

Our Primary and Junior ECO teams promote recycling and energy conservation, and they have planted an edible vegetable garden to raise awareness about locally-grown produce initiatives, and a flower garden to beautify our school property.

Our senior students are our 'Panther Pals', fulfilling leadership roles within our school including morning announcers, hall and door monitors, and school ambassadors for various orientation days.

The TDSB monthly character traits - respect, responsibility, empathy, kindness and caring, teamwork, fairness, honesty, cooperation, integrity, perseverance - are well-developed in our school community and there is a sense of pride, caring and togetherness in all that we do.

At Brown, students learn in a safe, inclusive and orderly environment where expectations are high, mistakes are viewed as a necessary part of authentic learning, and where support for one another's efforts is ongoing.

Welcome to Brown!  Go Panthers!
