FREE PARENT TRAINING WORKSHOP

CIVIL DISCOURSE AND DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

Danforth Gardens P.S. School Council is pleased to welcome University of Toronto Professor Randy Boyagoda to our school to present a training workshop to teach parents the skills to have difficult conversations.  Participants will learn skills that will allow them to have difficult conversations in many situations including with members of the school system, the school community, other parents, family members, neighbours and their children.

Professor Randy Boyagoda serves as Provostial Advisor on Civil Discourse at the University of Toronto and is a professor of English in the Faculty of Arts and Science, where he most recently served as Vice-Dean. To see his full profile please click here:

This training workshop is free and was made possible through the TDSB Innovation Grant.  This is an in-person event and babysitting will be provided.
