The Etobicoke Outdoor Education Centre is an overnight centre that is owned and operated by the Toronto District School Board.  While visiting, our students are provided with an opportunity to develop responsible attitudes toward the environment and, through direct experiences in that environment, achieve many of the goals and objectives set out in their grade specific curriculum.

At the Etobicoke Outdoor Education Centre, we will:

1) Provide high-quality experiential and inquiry-based learning opportunities in the outdoors with an emphasis on Truth and Reconciliation, environmental stewardship, and how we are connected to the natural world around us.

2) Prioritize belonging, joy, well-being, and a positive experience for all attending students.

3) Cultivate self-confidence and resiliency in our students.

4) Give students a voice through their curiosity, inquisition, and personal interests to guide where our learning takes us during their stay.

5) Support classroom learning to promote student success, growth, and achievement before, during, and after their visit.
