Mabels Labels

Do you dread the idea of your children losing various mittens, boots and coats this winter season? Do you find that your child’s reusable containers for lunch aren’t always coming back home? Here’s an idea that can help parents who are looking for a simple solution. Mabels Labels is a new fundraiser this year! They offer a wide range of labeling products that can be mailed right to your door. Their labels are dishwasher, washing machine and dryer safe. Acorn Custom Cards is coming!!

“Acorn Custom Cards is a school fundraising program which engages the imaginations of students and parents alike. Acorn celebrates student's original artwork and photography through the reproduction of their very own personalized folding cards, placemats, calendars and more. Each item proudly displays the artist's original work and includes a brief biography of the artist as well.”

Students, parents and teachers: The order forms will be coming out in January 2014 but you can start thinking about a potential piece of artwork that can be used for this wonderful opportunity to share with family and friends.

Book Bucks

The school council is organizing a book drive and the council will be asking families to bring in any gently used books for donation. We will be selling all donated materials for one dollar. Any money raised will be given to the school’s own library and any unsold, suitable reading material will be donated to our school library. (A book for one dollar can be a great add-on to any existing holiday gift.) If you have any questions or if you wish to donate your time or materials, please contact Robin at butrmosca@hotmail.com.

All fundraising efforts go to the students' field trips, Scientists in the school, art performances and helps to pay for the Electronic Smart Boards.
