Dear Parents/Caregivers:

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. As the elected public school board trustee for your community, my role
is to advocate for you and your child, to help you navigate the school system and to represent the needs of all
students and parents/caregivers in the Toronto District School Board.

As we re-open our schools, the TDSB is doing everything possible to ensure the physical health and safety
of all school community members, while also providing the best learning experience possible for students,
supporting mental health and well-being and considering the needs of families and staff. We will continue to
take our direction from Toronto Public Health and the Ministry of Education. I want to thank you in advance for
your understanding, patience and partnership as we work to overcome any challenges that may arise due to the
on-going pandemic.

will continue to be updated with relevant information and resources to help support you and your family.
