ABOUT SHSM PROGRAMS AND FEES               

At Forest Valley, we are committed to providing rich and authentic outdoor education experiences for all students in the TDSB. We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn about the wonders of nature through experiential education activities that are designed for, about and in the environment. Forest Valley Outdoor Education Centre is an ideal location for your SHSM certification because of the resounding benefits of nature-based education on student achievement and wellbeing, and provides excellent opportunities to integrate Indigenous perspective and worldview into each program. 

• Program Fee - $300. This does not include transportation.                 
• Materials Fee - $20 per student. This fee includes certificates and material maintenance
• Students may bring their own lunch or they can have a cookout (food arranged and brought with the visiting teacher), or schools can arrange pizza delivery.
• Students will depart Forest Valley at 2:00 pm.
